Roku remote app for iPhone and Android
Rimokon controls Roku streaming players and Roku TVs from your iPhone or Android phone over your home Wi-Fi: arrow keys, Play, rewind and fast-forward, typing with your phone's keyboard, and your apps. On a Roku TV you also get volume, channels, inputs and power.

Keys you can hold
Arrow keys with OK, Back, Home and the options key. Hold a key and it stays pressed, like on the Roku remote.
Playback
Play/Pause, rewind and fast-forward.
Type on the Roku
Type into the Roku's text fields with your phone's keyboard.

Open the apps installed on your Roku.
Roku TV extras
On a Roku TV: volume and mute, channel up and down, inputs, and turning the TV on and off.
Roku streaming players have no volume, input or power control here. Voice isn't available on Roku.
How to connect a Roku to Rimokon
Your phone and the Roku need to be on the same Wi-Fi. There's no code to type.

Allow mobile apps on the Roku
On the Roku, open Settings → System → Advanced system settings → Control by mobile apps, and set Network access to Enabled (some versions call it Default). - 2
Find your Roku
On Android, Rimokon looks for Roku devices on your Wi-Fi. If yours isn't listed, add it by its address on your network; the app shows how. - 3
Connect
Rimokon checks the Roku and connects. If the Roku refuses, the app shows the one setting to change.
Limited and Disabled under Control by mobile apps block Rimokon.
