A TV remote for your Wear OS watch
Rimokon brings a TV remote to Wear OS watches. Use the d-pad and the playback keys on your wrist, turn the crown or the rotating bezel for volume, and the watch sends each press through Rimokon on your Android phone.
Your phone does the talking
The watch never connects to the TV. It finds Rimokon on the phone it's paired with, sends each press there, and the phone passes it to the TV over your home Wi-Fi. There's nothing to pair on the watch: it uses the TV the phone already knows.
Every press gets an answer. When it reached the TV you feel a confirming buzz and see a tick next to the TV's name; when it didn't, a different buzz and a short message. Nothing is queued up to fire later, so the TV never does something you pressed a while ago.
Today the watch remote works with TVs and streamers running Google TV or Android TV.
Two pages, one crown
The watch uses the accent colour and dark look of your Rimokon widgets, with every key standing out like a real button.
- Navigate: a d-pad with OK in the centre, plus Back and Home.
- Play: Play/Pause, Previous and Next, Mute and Power.
- Volume: turn the crown or the rotating bezel on either page. One notch is one step, with a small tick you can feel.

Pair your TV on the phone
Open Rimokon on your Android phone and connect to your TV. The phone and the TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi. - 2
Open Rimokon on the watch
The watch finds Rimokon on your phone by itself. If it can't, it asks you to open Rimokon on the phone. - 3
Swipe and press
Swipe between Navigate and Play, and turn the crown or bezel to change the volume.
